Hosted Platform

We have been rolling out our new Managed hosted PBX platform with great success. We are being different from many other platform suppliers in a such as we are offering customers their own Mini PBX and manage it adding bespoke features as required.

What We mean by this is that we do not limit what suppliers they connect to or receive calls from, We are a Gradwell Partner so by default we supply calling minutes and incoming numbers from them, but We have for example customers using Skypes SIP trunks for calling and other suppliers as well.

Custom features include besoke hardware to interface with door entry and video equipment, CTI middleware for CRM packages and webdav for call recordings and saving recorings in mp3 or other formats

We also integrate it with Asternics FOP2 Console so  that users can also have an operators panel from the Hosted platform, allowing them to see the status of their users spread over many site. We also have provided CTI integration that is platform independent allowing screen popping on MACs, Linux and Windows PCs.

The Aim is to give an independent Hosted Solution.

We have also launched our backup platform in the USA if a problem occurs in the UK the Aastra handsets will register and use the US server for their calls.

Oh and Finally when you outgrow your hosted solution we can migrate the confuration to your own onsite platform or a mixture of the two which we have already done for one customer.

Snom Auto Provisioning

We were recently tasked with setting up the auto provioning of snom handsets in a mixed enviroment of Snom Aastra and Polycom handsets.

Unlike Aastra, Snom like to use Http as their default provioning method. This means more classes in the dhcpd.conf file. it is also possible to use tftp and this also works well , but its nice to have seeate classed for each handset type you use.

We have detailed the steps to set this up, It may need to be fine tuned for your enviroment and assumes you are using a Linux DHCP server.

If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
