As a reminder, effective immediately,<\/strong> application-to-person (A2P) SMS messages sent to the UK from Alphanumeric Sender IDs that contain special characters will be blocked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The following characters are allowed<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Any special characters outside of the list above will be blocked<\/strong> (example: \u201c+\u201d or \u201c@\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Effective October 31, 2023<\/strong>, application-to-person (A2P) SMS messages sent to the UK from the following list of generic Alphanumeric Sender IDs will be blocked. What do you need to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Avoid using special characters in your Alphanumeric Sender IDs and use a non-generic Alphanumeric Sender ID to send messages in the UK to avoid message disruption following the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n What if you don\u2019t take action?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There\u2019s no action for you to take<\/strong>.
