 <\/p>\n

The Elmeg IP290 are a clone of\u00a0the\u00a0Old Snom 190 Sets. and these did support auto configuration. We hoped that it was a simple change to get the files working with the Elmeg.<\/p>\n

It turns out that it\u00a0wasn’t, There are a few gotchas.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The phones dont seem to support tftp download, Just http and https<\/li>\n
  2. They dont support sub directories. So files must be in the root directory of your webserver.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Firstly you need to configure your dhcpd.conf<\/span><\/p>\n

    Add the following to the general section<\/p>\n

    option snom-setting code 66 = string;
    \noption snom-bootfile code 67 = string;<\/p>\n

    Then the following to\u00a0the\u00a0subnet<\/p>\n

    class “snom-phones” {

    Theb the following are the two files you need to create .<\/p>\n
